Dave's Hot Chicken

I stopped by Dave’s Hot Chicken in Conyers, GA, thinking I’d play it safe with a Medium… but I went straight for Hot and instantly realized I’d pushed it too far. I love heat, but this level is on another planet. I couldn’t even finish it.

On the upside, the slider is surprisingly large—comparable to a Chick-fil-A sandwich—and the pickles and slaw work well together. The signature sauce doesn’t bring much flavor, but the tender comes with white bread and extra pickles, which do a solid job cooling things down.

I’d go back, but next time I’m capping it at Medium. They’ve also got slushes and milkshakes if you need backup when the heat kicks in.
